Netflix – Multi-Genre Trailers

While most movies and TV shows can usually be categorized into several genres, they are frequently only marketed as one. This inntiative aimed to broaden that representation to highlight three distinct genres that each film or series belonged to, thereby increasing the potential audiences for each.

I crafted the onscreen copy for all of these experimental trailers, using language that effectively evoked each genre we were attempting to accentuate. I then worked with several editors and designers to ensure that equal shrift was given to each genre in the cuts themselves.
