BILL SAVAGE

I had the pleasure of working as a writer on the Adult Swim comedy series Newsreaders alongside executive producers Rob Corddry, David Wain and Jon Stern. The show was a spin-off of the Emmy Award-winning Children's Hospital. Much like C.H. lampooned scores of TV medical dramas, Newsreaders was a send-up of TV news journalism programs a la 60 Minutes, and certainly embodied its own vibe of esoteric comedy. 

Below are two "news stories" I wrote for the show, directed by Alex Fernie and Paul Scheer, respectively, and featuring Kumail Nanjiani, Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi, Michael Stahl-David and Alison Becker.
